S.C. Design For Life, S.R.L.

Oakwood Design is a natural and ecological way of thinking and producing. Actually caused by the realization that much timber is recyclable. Design For Life started with the plan to make tables of old cabins. There are plenty of them throughout the whole of Europe. A special department began with the purchase of this old wood. The wood was inspected and processed into beautiful boards of which the tables were created. After the production process the remains of the wood are compressed into woodlogs for the fireplace. So nothing will be lost. It all started with a finishing, which was specialized in the development of colors in stains and varnishes for the furniture industry. Many orders were received from furniture manufacturers because this company stood for quality, trendy, and centralizing the client. Because there was a lot of interest in the latest trends in the furniture and paint the advisory task increased enormously and there was a question if there was an interest for self-designing and producing furniture, especially chairs and tables. This interest grew with the knowledge and experience into a great success. New designs, an ecologic way of thinking made it even bigger. Today the company consists an enthusiastic and experienced staff which is accompanied by Dutch - German management.
